UPDATE: Runxia has graduated, and her thesis work has been published.

I am a grad student in Moritz's lab, currently I am studying the role of autophagy in retinal degenerations. Autophagy provides neuro-protective roles in multiple neurodegenerative diseases, such as Huntington's, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. The role of autophagy in retina degenerations remains elucidated.

I like travelling, painting and hiking.
